Sapura Energy, Malaysian oil and gas service supplier secured a contract from Petronas for the movement and tie-in of the FLNG Satu.
The organization is contracted to embrace engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) works for the movement and tie-in of the PFLNG Satu, right now situated in the Kumang Cluster, offshore Sarawak.
The PFLNG Satu is at present working at Kanowit gas field and is fit for delivering 1.2 million tons of LNG every year.
Petronas hopes to have its second floating LNG unit, the PFLNG Dua finished in 2020.
Counting the PFLNG Satu contract, Sapura Energy secured contracts worth 760 Malaysian Ringgit ($184.6 million) boosting its aggregate for the financial year to 9.3 billion Malaysian Ringgit.
