PETALING JAYA: Oil and gas organization Sapura Energy Bhd has secured contracts worth RM760mil in Angola and Malaysia that improved the joined estimation of venture wins in current financial year finishing Jan 31, 2019, to RM9.3bil.
The organization, in an announcement on Monday, said the developing order book will see higher use of its assets.
In Angola, the organization has secured two-year drilling contract with augmentation options.
“The project involves utilizing a first of its benevolent specialized technical solution for enhancing productivity for the drilling effort,” it said.
“The agreement involves drilling three wells seaward Sarawak,” it said.
Moreover, Sapura Drilling was granted an agreement extension by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for the arrangement of semi-tender helped drilling rig, Sapura Berani.
The agreement contains the drilling of two wells at the Sumandak facility, offshore Sabah.
In the interim, Sapura Fabrication was granted an agreement from Petronas Floating LNG 1 (L) Ltd to embrace engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) works for the migration and tie-in of the PFLNG Satu (Petronas Floating Liquefied Natural Gas), right now situated in the Kumang Cluster, offshore Sarawak.
