Sapura Energy Berhad has reported that it has secured a US$184.6mn contract for drilling and engineering and development organizations in Angola throughout the following two years.
The Malaysian oil and gas service organization said the agreement in Angola was granted by Cabinda Gulf Oil Company Limited, a subsidiary of Chevron Corporation, for the provision of its semi-submersible tender helped drilling rig, Sapura Jaya.
The agreement included drilling works in the Angolan waters for a time of two years with expansion alternatives.
